The committee of the Political science And Sociology Students' Postgraduate ORganisaTion (PASSPORT) are:

The aims of the group are:

  1. To facilitate communication between postgraduate students in the School of Political Science, Criminology & Sociology and other bodies such as the School, UMPA and the general public.
  2. To provide academic support to fellow postgraduates in the School and thus foster a sense of community and collegiality by communicating research ideas and collaborations.
  3. To further their interests by all manner and means including:
    • providing forums for them to meet, mutually support each other and develop networks; and
    • organising socials, meetings and other get-togethers

All PASSPORT meetings are open to all postgraduate students in the School - research, coursework, full or part-time, in any discipline stream - and further details of upcoming events can be obtained from the committee members above.
