Background

Michael was educated at Monash University and La Trobe University, and previously taught political science at Monash University and sociology at Deakin University. He has been a visiting research fellow at the Australian National University, McMaster University (Canada), University of Padua, and Queens University (Canada). Michael is the coordinator of the Political Science Fourth Year Honours program.
